MWAIIA is very honored to announce that Louise (Bebe) Canter has won this year's Woodworth Award, the highest award presented by Big 'I' National annually. The award is presented annually to an agent with uncommon dedication to the industry and to the association.

Bebe was presented the Woodworth award on Thursday, April 11 at the Big 'I' National Legislative Conference. She was joined by her family, current and past MWAIIA Board members and several of her colleagues.

During her more-than-50 years in the insurance industry, Bebe has distinguished herself with her willingness to serve the independent insurance agency channel and her community. She participated in many organizations, including the Big 'I' National, Metropolitan Washington Association of Independent Insurance Agents and Metropolitan Washington Service Corp.

Bebe is also the first and only woman to serve as the President of Big 'I' National and is a true pioneer for independent agents.

The MWAIIA Board of Directors is pleased that this years Woodworth Award was given to one of our own!
